      We put every possible effort forward to be among the very best bird taxidermists. All of our birds are assembled with the utmost attention to cleanliness and detail. We use competition quality reproduction heads and bills/beaks whenever possible as they are anatomically correct and do not shrink like the natural bill/beak. In the case of a hybrid species where no commercially available head exists, we will custom mold one from your bird. We also inject the feet with a 2 part product that prevents them from shrinking so that they maintain a full and fleshy, natural appearance. All of our bills/beaks and feet are finished with a variety of techniques to produce a soft and natural result with lifelike depth. We are also able to remove nearly all rust stains from the feathers. We can even swap in donor feet, tails and wings if you have a bird that has sustained excessive shot damage. Each bird at Western Taxidermy comes with your choice of a driftwood base or a metal "ghost hanger" included in the price. More complex habitats are subject to additional quotes.
